Dental Hygienist

Full time hygienist, Shelby Thibeault RDH is from Arnaudville, LA and graduated from Cecilia High School In 2019. Following her commencement, she went on to attend the University of Louisiana at Monroe and received her Bachelors of Science in Dental Hygiene in May of 2023. Shelby has been practicing for over a year now and is always ready to gain new knowledge, hoping to grow her skills and provide better care for all patients daily. Shelby still works hard to build strong interpersonal rapport with everyone she comes into contact with, especially her patients. Shelby cannot wait to continue to contribute to healthy smiles for all residents of the Acadiana area.

Jacqueline Torkowski

Dental Receptionist

Jacqueline Torkowski is a dedicated and compassionate healthcare professional from Cecilia, Louisiana. A 2015 graduate of Cecilia High School, she continued her education at Acadiana Area Career College, where she completed the EKG Technician course in 2017 and became a nationally board-certified EKG tech. Later that same year, she earned her certification as a Dental Assistant and worked in the dental field from 2017 to 2020. In 2021, Jacqueline returned to AACC to complete the Medical Office Assistant program and passed her board exam to become a certified medical office assistant. With a strong passion for helping others, she finds great fulfillment in supporting patients throughout their dental care journey. Outside of work, Jacqueline enjoys spending quality time with her 3-year-old daughter, Malani. Together, they love engaging in hands-on activities and exploring new experiences. Jacqueline looks forward to welcoming and assisting both new and returning patients with warmth and professionalism.

Erin Doucet

FINANCIAL COORDINATOR

Erin Doucet is a dedicated Financial Coordinator based in Lafayette, Louisiana, with a strong background in healthcare and office management. A 2008 graduate of Rayne High School, Erin began her career in the dental field after completing the Dental Assistant program at Acadiana Area Career College in 2010. She worked in dentistry for six years before transitioning to the administrative side of healthcare.

In 2016, Erin enrolled at Bryan University, where she earned her Associate of Applied Science degree in Medical Billing and Coding in 2018, followed by a Bachelor of Science in Allied Health Management in 2021. Her academic achievements reflect her commitment to personal growth and excellence in the healthcare industry.

Outside of work, Erin is a proud wife to her husband Scott and a devoted mother to two children, Wes (10) and Scarlett (3). She enjoys spending quality time with her family, as well as expressing her creativity through arts and crafts and sewing. Erin values family, community, and lifelong learning in both her personal and professional life.
