Dr. Vintage “Vinnie” Delahoussaye Leblanc was born and raised along the banks of the Bayou Teche in St. Martin Parish. She graduated as one of six female Valedictorians, still lifelong friends, of the Cecilia High School Class of 1994. She was an Honor graduate of then “USL” in 1998 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She went on to attend and graduate from LSU Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry acquiring a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in New Orleans in 2002. She was a recipient of the LSU Baldridge Scholarship for being among one of the top scorers on part one of the National Dental Boards. She completed a GPR residency program in 2004 from the Veterans Administration Medical Center in downtown New Orleans. After a year of community health service, she opened a private practice in Arnaudville, LA which she later sold in 2010. In 2012, she continued her career as a traveling contract dentist until 2017 when she acquired a retiring dentist’s practice located in the Oil Center right next to Lafayette General Hospital. Dr. Leblanc has recently expanded and relocated her practice off of Verot School Rd @107 Regency Square, doubling her square footage and enabling her to add more complex digital treatments like: orthodontics via clear aligners and cone beam imaging enabling guided implant surgery. With over 20 years experience, Dr Leblanc still loves practicing all disciplines of General Dentistry and is grateful to continue to serve Lafayette and the surrounding communities. Dr Leblanc has three children: Janae, Cade & Dexton; no grandchildren yet. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, dining, and scuba diving.
